Thanks
for Your Interest
The North Fork is a beautiful place
that harks back to simpler times, but... more and more
people are finding that the internet is something folks
can't do without. We're speeding down the information
superhighway even as we plough the fields. That's the
new North Fork.
One of the first of its kind in the
region, NorthForkParents has been building an online
community since 2003.
Now, our site statistics show us that
the community uses NorthForkParents, and they tell us
regularly how much they appreciate it (see righthand
margin). Monthly site traffic has reached well over
60,000 hits per month, and it's still growing! More
than 500 visitors subscribe to our weekly enewsletter.
NorthForkParents comes out at or near the top for most
family-related searches on major search engines. Our
33-page 2007 Summer Camp Guide was downloaded more than
4,000 times and we're told, widely shared and circulated
among parents.
So whether you live here year round
or just come to get away from it all, NorthForkParents
is the family connection to all things local.
NorthForkParents offers affordable,
targetted advertising sponsorships on the site. Our
local businesses contribute greatly to the community,
and we look forward to helping you bring your products
and services into better view for busy parents.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a banner ad?
It's a small advertisement on a web page that, when
clicked on, takes the visitor to another page or site
on the internet.
How is a banner ad created?
It is created using web design software. The ad usually
includes a business logo, business name, and a few key
words of text. Design is included with advertising.
Which pages would work best for
my banner ad?
While the Home page may get the most traffic, and the
enewsletter may ensure the greatest frequency, an inside
page that best compliments your business may be the
most cost-effective choice. Of course, since the rates
are so affordable, you may decide to advertise on multiple
pages.
Can I change my banner ad, and if
so, how often?
Yes, you can change the text monthly to highlight events,
products, and services. The design itself would remain
essentially the same.
What if I don't have a web site?
You can get one through NorthForkParents. We can design
a page for you on the NorthForkParents web site or a
whole web site of your own.
How much does a banner ad cost?
You'll find NorthForkParents pleasantly affordable.
The rates are lower for longer terms and/or multiple
pages! Current rates are available here.
How do I get started?
Send an email to info@NorthForkParents.com
and let us know that you'd like to explore becoming
an advertising sponsor. Go on, do it! We'll be
glad you did, and so will you!
