Where:
Wildwood State Park, Wading River
Directions:
Go to Wading River on Sound Avenue (County Road 48),
head north on Hulse Landing Road, entrance on east side
of road.
Why:
This is a great park anytime
of year, but when you're looking for some autumn scenery,
brisk fresh air, and the necessary amenities, this is
a great pick. Great for a hike in the woods, a barbeque,
a romp in the playground, a walk along the beach. No
pets allowed.
When:
Anytime! Open year round.
Bring:

and drinks for the trail

bags for collecting neat finds
