NorthForkParents.com is an online publication that was started in 2003 by local parents who wanted to bring parents and families together to create a stronger community of parents, grandparents, schools, government, organizations, and loving caregivers. We work together in this beautiful place we call home to cultivate our most important crop: healthy, happy families!

Herein you will find links to resources local families may find useful and fun, including a calendar of events, links to sports groups, excursion and activity ideas, family-friendly recipes, parenting articles, preschool listing, a shopping page, and much more (see links along lefthand side of the pages). We highlight the efforts of individuals and groups doing great things for kids and families in the community. Many parents, educators, civic leaders, and local organizations contribute to this site.
